Our Dr. said the girls are the biggest twins he has ever delivered. (And he has delivered many)
Most of the time twins come so early they are really underweight. We prayed for our girls to be fat and they are. :) They are so healthy. They had no breathing problems and they are really catching on to nursing very quickly.

The babies are beautiful!!! I feel your pain with the whole trying to go natural with the birth and then needing a c-section in the end. A bit disappointing and recovering from major surgery is a pain in the neck, but it's such a joy to be a mother. Congratulations to you both!

Hi there! Amarilis forwarded your news to me. I'm not sure if you remember me (I'm a few years younger than you), but hopefully Jim does--he was my Sunday School teacher when I was 14 or so. Congrats on the beautiful baby girls! We can COMPLETELY empathize with not being able to get pregnant, so we know what a blessing those precious babies are! Enjoy!
