We are all going home today!

We are so blessed with such healthy babies. They have no problems that will keep them in the hospital any extra time. Hannah has a little jaundice, but they are sending home a billy blanket(blue light) to help get rid of it. No big deal. She looks like a little glow worm. We are all so excited to be at home together and start getting into the routine of having two babies at home. All the feedings, changes, crying, joy and love are going to be wonderful. We can't wait to watch them change and grow.

Look how much they weigh!

Hannah Scherck weight - 6.13 lbs Alyssa Scherck weight - 6lbs (they round up)
Our Dr. said the girls are the biggest twins he has ever delivered. (And he has delivered many)

Most of the time twins come so early they are really underweight. We prayed for our girls to be fat and they are. :) They are so healthy. They had no breathing problems and they are really catching on to nursing very quickly.

The Big Day has finally arrived!!

We are heading to the hospital in a few hours to have our babies!! We have to be there at 3:30am Wednesday the 6th. Which is in just a few hours! :) Both girls are doing great and have grown really well all along. The Dr. is so happy with how we have progressed. I have done really well for carrying twins. At the appointment on Monday, he said I had dilated to 2cm and 70% effaced. I made some progress on my own, but have not gone into full labor on my own. I will be induced and hopefully have both girls naturally. He did say that if the first comes out fine, but then the second one turns a little he may end up having to do a c-section too. Please pray for us that all goes well and we can have both girls naturally and both will be fine.

This is the final picture of the belly! The next pictures you see on here will be of our beautiful babies. :)
Please keep checking the blog as now it will become a record of the babies daily(weekly) events. I hope all of you can have a chance to come and see them in real life. Either you come see us, or we can come see you.

Thanks for your love and support through this time. You are all wonderful.
