Halloween fun!

Better late than never I guess...

We had a great Halloween weekend filled with pumpkins, costumes, trick-or-treating at the Jacksonville Zoo's Spooktacular, and a trunk-or-treat and chili cook-off. The girls were so cute and they had a blast. They had been talking about what they would dress up as for a month or more before Halloween. Sweet Aunt Tami, bought them adorable costumes at their request of a ballerina for Alyssa and a pumpkin for Hannah. (She had wanted to be a banana, but we couldn't find a banana costume in her size anywhere so she said she would be a pumpkin instead.) Alyssa's ballerina costume was too small and when I took it back to exchange it, the next size up was too big, so she fell in love with a Tinkerbell costume instead. Then she never actually wore it. Lol! Alyssa had been saying that Daddy would be a slice of pizza for Halloween and we went along with it thinking there was no way we could find a costume like that, and I didn't have the time to make one. However, Aunt Tami found one! It was actually a child's costume, but it fit over Jim's head and he looked so cute. :) Alyssa ended up wearing the slice of pizza to the zoo and then the pumpkin princess to the church event. Hannah was the pumpkin princess at the zoo and then she was Tinkerbell at church. They looked adorable in all of the costumes and had a great time.
